So this weekend was packed full of fun! I went ice skating with my church friends on Friday night. After hours of me screeching on the ice as I went around the rink, we headed over to Marble Slab for ice cream and good conversation. On Saturday, Theresa and I went to the United Way Women's Leadership Conference Derby Day event. We wore big hats and had a delicious meal. We watched the Kentucky Derby race (and I bet on the winning horse!), then we headed outside for the starting race of the Womens Leadership Conference race. We watched the race right on the track, and helped present the winner with the trophy cup. Sunday night was worship night for our singles group. Nothing like a little praise and worship to start your week off right!

Sounds like you had a better time iceskating than I did. I am happy for you. You are right about the worship sessions. They are so amazing and really do set the mood for the week. I have been trying to get some purely worship music get togethers for the singles and even the youth...maybe now that Scott is less busy...if not, I'm driving up for your next one!
Love ya!
